This custom carbon fiber undertray was designed and fabricated specifically for an open-wheel racecar, optimized for aerodynamic performance and structural efficiency. The geometry was developed and validated using Computational Fluid Dynamics to ensure optimal downforce, airflow management, and ground-effect performance.

The final part was hand-laid in carbon fiber using precision molds, achieving a lightweight yet rigid structure capable of withstanding high-Downforce aerodynamic loads. This project demonstrates the integration of aerodynamic design, composite fabrication, and data-driven engineering, resulting in a performance-focused component built for motorsport applications.
